Originally glazed and crafted for the gardens of Nieborów Palace, this black faience ceramic artichoke now brings timeless elegance into modern interiors. In ancient Greek and Roman culture, the artichoke symbolized fertility and was associated with Aphrodite.

Each diffuser is handcrafted in Poland in a limited edition and comes in a beautifully designed gift box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The Majolika Nieborów studio, founded in 1881 by Michał Piotr Radziwiłł, is renowned for its ceramic creations inspired by Italian Renaissance majolica. Through the 1920s and 1930s, it was a creative hub attracting prominent artists. Despite challenges after WWII, the studio has continued to thrive — merging traditional techniques with modern aesthetics, while hosting workshops and exhibitions to keep the craft alive.

This ceramic artichoke can be used as a fragrance diffuser or a striking decorative object. Due to its artisanal nature, we recommend placing it on a small tray or coaster to protect your furniture and preserve the beauty of the piece.
